Pineapple Quilt
 
The Pineapple Quilt has been a longtime favorite, but not an easily pieced quilt. The Pineapple Trim Tool by Creative Grid has made this complicated block easy to piece! The Pineapple block makes a wonderful scrap quilt or a striking 2 or 3 color quilt. The possibilities of design with this block are endless. You won’t want to stop at just one! Making 12 Blocks Light 1 ½ yards cut into at least 1 ¾ inch strips by WOF Make 25 strips Dark 2 yards cut into at least 1 ¾ inch strips by WOF Make 29 strips Center block (I used my Dark Fabric) cut (12) 2 ½ x 2 ½ inch squares Ribbit Ears cut 5 strips 2 ½ inch by WOF (I used my Dark Fabric) *You will need extra fabric if you are wanting borders.
 
Making 20 Blocks Light 2 yards cut into at least 1 ¾ inch strips by WOF Make 34 strips Dark 3 1/4yards cut into at least 1 ¾ inch strips by WOF Make 41 strips Center block (I used my dark) cut (20) 2 ½ x 2 ½ inch squares Ribbit Ears cut 8 strips 2 ½ inch by WOF ( I Used my Dark) *You will need extra fabric if you are wanting borders.
 
 
*You can use your left over strips ie: binding sashing to make a scrappy quilt. *Strips need to be a min. of 1 ¾ inch wide but they can be larger if you are using left over strips there is no need to cut them down.
